Mereba‘s sophomore album is a love letter to the folks and experiences that formed her life. It could possibly take the type of a tune written for her new child or a voice memo that includes clever knowledge from her father.

On a tune like “Counterfeit,” she nods on the lengthy journey via the music business to get up to now. Mereba’s musical profession has taken her from Greensboro, N.C., studying guitar and taking part in people music, to changing into part of Atlanta’s underground music scene within the 2010s.

Now based mostly in LA, she was mentored by Stevie Marvel, and in 2019, Mereba launched her debut album, The Jungle is the Solely Means Out.
