At 84, he is been enjoying folks, jug music and Americana for over 70 years. He began the Jim Kweskin Jug Band, which performed the Newport Folks Competition a number of instances and have become an enormous affect on the people revival of the ’60s within the course of. Kweskin’s band rubbed off on a number of upstarts of the time, together with Grateful Useless and The Lovin’ Spoonful.
