NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Contest receives hundreds of movies from bands all around the U.S. and Puerto Rico hoping to impress our panel of judges and land a spot behind the Desk because the winner of the Tiny Desk Contest.

Whereas there can solely be one winner, that doesn’t low cost the plethora of very gifted musicians who submit movies.

Annually right here at Alt.Latino, we prefer to highlight a handful of the bands that self-identify as Latin. With nearly 200 entries to select from, the choice for the six we function was robust.

However we gave it our greatest. How did we do?
