Los Angeles singer-songwriter Annahstasia — who you could have seen as Kendrick Lamar’s love curiosity within the video for his No.1 hit “luther” — blew us away along with her mix of gravity and beauty. Celebrated jazz guitarist Mary Halvorson — who received a MacArthur “genius” grant in 2019 — has a brand new album produced by Deerhoof’s John Dieterich. Jazz harpist Brandee Youthful might need hit a brand new profession excessive along with her new album, on which she performs Alice Coltrane’s harp.
