Watch Turnstile Play “I Care” and “Uninteresting” on Fallon

Mere days earlier than they launch By no means Sufficient, their long-awaited fourth album, Turnstile visited The Tonight Present Starring Jimmy Fallon to debut two new songs from the file: “I Care” and “Uninteresting.” Surrounded by striped wallpaper, a pale pink carpet, and a framed picture of a rotary phone, the Baltimore experimental hardcore band performed the previous ’80s-sounding pop-rock tune whereas carrying retro over-the-ear headphones. To match the glitchy hardcore of the latter monitor, Turnstile had been doused in pink lighting whereas they jumped round onstage. Watch a replay beneath.

By no means Sufficient, the follow-up album to 2021’s smash success Glow On, comes out this Friday, June 6 by way of Roadrunner. It’s Turnstile’s first LP with new guitarist Meg Mills, following Brady Ebert’s departure in 2022, and first since they acquired Grammy nominations in each 2023 and 2024.

The music movies for Turnstile’s beforehand launched singles “By no means Sufficient,” “Birds,” “Seein’ Stars,” and “Look Out for Me” are all a part of the upcoming companion movie Turnstile: By no means Sufficient. That fifty-minute film, which was directed by singer Brendan Yates and guitarist Pat McCrory, contains all 14 songs from the file and might be screened at film theaters across the nation.

Later tonight at New York Metropolis’s AG Studios, Turnstile might be in dialog with author Lawrence Burney about their new cowl story on Pitchfork, which was printed as a limited-edition zine.
