MANILA, Philippines — The Fee on Elections (Comelec) introduced on Saturday that the printing of discipline check ballots for the 2025 Bangsamoro Autonomous Area in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Parliamentary Elections will begin on Monday on the Nationwide Printing Workplace (NPO) Facility, NIA North Street, Diliman, Quezon Metropolis.
Based mostly on an announcement, the Comelec mentioned the printing of 160 discipline check ballots will begin after the signing of the memorandum of settlement (MOA) for the availability of printing companies in connection to the BARMM Elections.

The MOA signing is ready at 2 p.m. on Monday on the Chairman’s Corridor in Palacio del Gobernador in Intramuros, Manila.
In response to the Comelec, the printing of 160 ballots is meant “completely to be used within the upcoming Discipline Check in July 2025 to be carried out inside BARMM.”
“These discipline check ballots won’t replicate the names of precise candidates and political events within the 2025 BARMM Parliamentary Elections, as these will likely be used solely for simulation and testing functions,” the Comelec mentioned.

The Comelec emphasised that the sector check goals “to make sure the accuracy, integrity, and readiness of the electoral guidelines, procedures, and automatic election methods to be deployed in BARMM.”
