Marika Hackman has launched a brand new model of her tune ‘Pores and skin’ with a visitor function from Laura Marling – test it out under.
The particular model of the monitor comes on the tenth anniversary of Hackman’s debut album ‘We Slept At Final’, the file that first launched the tune to the world.
Hackman has produced the brand new incarnation of the monitor herself, recording it between The Gatehouse in Abbey Street Studios and her personal studio. It took place as a part of Abbey Street’s annual collaboration with Pitchfork London.
The spare, spacious recording sees Marling’s vocals add depth and timbre to the tune, with minimal instrumentation giving it a hauntingly intimate impact. Watch the visualiser right here:

To have fun the 10-year anniversary of ‘We Slept At Final’, Hackman performed the album in full accompanied by a string part at London’s Union Chapel on Friday night time (March 21).
Hackman’s fourth studio album ‘Huge Sigh’ was launched in January 2024. In a four-star assessment, NME wrote: “The consequence is a wonderful follow-up to the breakthrough that was ‘Any Human Pal’.
