Batangas mayor cited in contempt detained upon arrival from US

MANILA, Philippines —  Bauan, Batangas Mayor Ryanh Dolor, who was cited in contempt and ordered detained by a Home panel for repeated absence in its hearings, is now detained on the decrease chamber’s premises. “The arrest was carried out between 12:08 a.m. and 12:20 a.m. by a joint group led by the Workplace of the Home Sergeant-at-Arms, with coordination from the Home of Representatives Liaison Officer, Airport Police, Prison Investigation and Detection Workplace, and the Bureau of Immigration,” it added.

Based on the panel, it issued three invites, one present trigger order, and a subpoena.
