CEBU CITY, Philippines — A welder was apprehended with P13.6 million value of suspected shabu in his possession throughout an anti-illegal medication operation in Sitio Kamanggahan, Brgy. Labangon, Cebu Metropolis on the early hours of Wednesday, February 12.
The arrested suspect was recognized as 49-year-old alias “Sherman,” a welder and a resident of the barangay.
Sherman was apprehended at round 1:35 a.m. on Wednesday.
The drug bust was performed by brokers of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Company in Central Visayas (PDEA-7), along with Naval Forces Central, Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit, and Labangon Police Station.

Operatives confiscated two packs of suspected shabu weighing round 2,000 grams, packaging supplies, a cellular telephone, and a motorbike from the suspect.
The items of drug proof had an estimated common market worth of P13,600,000, based on PDEA-7.
Leia Alcantara, PDEA-7 spokesperson, stated that the suspect had no prior prison file.
She added that the operation on Wednesday stemmed from a tip by a confidential informant.
Through the three-week case buildup, authorities discovered that Sherman sometimes disposes of 500 grams of unlawful medication each week.
Authorities are getting ready to file fees for the possession and sale of unlawful medication towards the detained Sherman, as of this writing.
