Seoul, South Korea — The rear part of a passenger plane caught fireplace at an airport in South Korea on Tuesday, forcing the evacuation of 176 individuals on board, authorities mentioned.

The Air Busan aircraft, an Airbus A321, was set to fly to Hong Kong from Gimhae Worldwide Airport in southeastern Busan however caught fireplace at round 10:15 pm native time (1315 GMT), the transport ministry mentioned in an announcement.

A complete of 169 passengers and 7 flight attendants and employees had been evacuated down inflatable slides, it mentioned.

The assertion gave no details about the reason for the hearth aside from to say it broke out within the rear of the plane.
